How do we preserve memories in the age of AI? — a workshop with Autograph
What if the stories that make you who you are didn't have to fade?
Autograph is a voice-based memory companion. You have a phone conversation with Walter— an AI trained to help you recall, narrate, and understand your memories — and he turns what you share into a biographical record: written summaries, portraits of the people and places that matter to you, and a private, encrypted vault that's yours alone, shared only when you choose and only with whom you choose.
Autograph is new, and the founding community shaping it is self-selected and unlike any other — people who believe the stories we carry deserve better than to be forgotten and that an intentionally designed AI service can help us get there. On March 31, we're gathering that community for a working session at Frontier Tower — an intimate evening with the founders, and a room of people serious about what AI for human flourishing actually looks like in practice.
This isn't a demo night. It's a working session. Your feedback goes directly to the people building Walter — every group is proctored by a founder or head of partnerships, and what you say shapes what we build next.
The questions we'll work through are the ones that arise specifically when AI touches memory and personal narrative: What does it feel like when a memory actually flows? How can assistive technology help us access parts of ourselves we haven't visited in years? What memories should we organize — and for whom? What should we be thoughtful not to automate?
To attend: We request that all attendees have completed at least one call with the Autograph service. Head to autograph.ai — it takes minutes. The room is small by design — self-selected, intentional, and exactly the right people to help us figure this out together. Every voice counts.
This event is hosted at the Frontier Tower:
We are transforming a 16-floor tower in San Francisco into a self-governed vertical village—a hub for frontier technologies and creative arts. Tier-one labs presenting AI, Ethereum, biotech, neuroscience, longevity, robotics, makerspace, human flourishing, and arts & music. These floors will house innovators and creators pushing the boundaries of human potential in a post-AI-singularity world.
