Lo-Fi Oyster Co. and Local Economy Present Tide Tables, Ambient Jazz and Bay Science

​“Tide Tables” is a special series presented in collaboration with Lo-Fi Oyster Co. Each event combines ambient jazz with conversations about the Bay water, climate, and food systems.

​Up first, the Wild Oyster Project will be paired with experimental ambient vocalist Roco Córdova.

​The Wild Oyster Project aims to bring native oysters back to San Francisco Bay through shell recycling, community engagement and restoration initiatives. They imagine a swimmable, edible Bay using the power of oysters.

​Roco Córdova is a composer, improviser, and vocalist, who was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Córdova's work fuses diverse influences with electronic media, chance operations, gradual processes, noise, improvisation, and timbral techniques of composition.
