Group Gawking: Athena + Owlets

​Athena the Great Horned Owl has hatched owlets. We're going to go look at them.

​Athena nests right at the entrance to the Wildflower Center, so this part is less hike and more show up, tilt your head back, and hope for a glimpse of fluff.

​March 4: Athena arrived to the nest.

​March 5: Athena laid her first egg.

​March 9: Athena laid her second egg.

​April 8: First owlet hatched.

​April 10: Second owlet hatched.

​April 26: ATX Outsiders visits. We should be hitting peak awkward fluff.

1:00pm Meet at Athena's nesting site, at the threshold of the Wildflower Center Central Complex
1:15pm Intros all around + a 1-mile Arboretum Trail stroll, with emphasis on being curious about plants
2:00pm Choose your own adventure
