Group Gawking: Athena + Owlets former nesting site

​The goal was to visit Athena. Athena had other opinions.
This will now be a moment to pay our respects at the former nesting site, then share a roughly 1 mile stroll with each other.

​For context: 2026 TIMELINE

​March 4: Athena arrived to the nest.

​March 5: Athena laid her first egg.

​March 9: Athena laid her second egg.

​April 8: First owlet hatched.

​April 10: Second owlet hatched.

​**April 19: The nest has been abanonded, and the one remaining owlet is in Wildlife Rehab offsite

​April 26: ATX Outsiders visits to nod/pay respects to the nesting spot

​Our agenda:
1:00pm Meet at Athena's former nesting site, at the threshold of the Wildflower Center Central Complex
1:15pm Intros all around + a 1-mile Arboretum Trail stroll, with emphasis on being curious about plants
2:00pm Choose your own adventure
