What happens when Lisbon's coolest grandmas take over The Offline Club? 🧵📵
An afternoon of embroidery, vinyl, drinks, and different generations coming together.

This time, we're bringing our community together with some of Lisbon's coolest grandmas.
Together with A Avó Veio Trabalhar & Why Not Soda, we're hosting a workshop where the Avós will teach us one of their creative techniques: embroidery over old photographs. It's exactly what A Avó is all about: bringing generations together through creativity and sharing skills and knowledge. And who better to learn from than a generation that was doing "offline" long before we even had a word for it?
After the workshop, we're keeping things old-school with a vinyl DJ, drinks, and time to hang out together. Because if we're learning embroidery from grandmas, the music deserves to be analog too. 💿
And, as always, we'll be doing it all without our phones. 📵

Desta vez, vamos juntar a nossa comunidade a algumas das avós mais cool de Lisboa.
Em conjunto com A Avó Veio Trabalhar e a Why Not Soda, vamos organizar um workshop onde as Avós nos vão ensinar uma das suas técnicas criativas: bordado sobre fotografias antigas. É exatamente isto que define A Avó: juntar diferentes gerações através da criatividade e da partilha de conhecimentos e saberes. E quem melhor para nos ensinar do que uma geração que já vivia "offline" muito antes de sequer termos uma palavra para isso?
Depois do workshop, continuamos em modo old-school, com um DJ a passar vinil, bebidas e tempo para conviver. Porque se vamos aprender bordado com as Avós, a música também merece ser analógica. 💿
E, como sempre, vamos fazer tudo isto sem os nossos telemóveis. 📵
