On 6 November, we're bringing AWARË to Berlin for a live concert at MaHalla. Marcus Börner, Maria Melcher, Stefan Beiten and Loes Fokker invite up to 60 friends to spend the evening together.
We start in our private Backstage Lounge with drinks and appetizers. Then we move into the hall for AWARË: two and a half hours of music as one single, unbroken flow – an evening that happens exactly like this only once. Afterwards we return to the Backstage Lounge and let the night wind down together with the musicians, over a Chinese vegetarian buffet.
The concert
This is not a concert in the usual sense.
AWARË performances are journeys. Voices and instruments weave into each other, the senses wake up one by one, and the music builds until the whole room is dancing. The audience isn't watching; it's part of the experience. The musicians play to the room, the room answers, and the evening takes shape between them.
What makes this Berlin evening special: only 750 guests are admitted. That keeps an already intimate concert even closer; music, musicians and audience stay within reach of each other.
Musicians and audience move through a single arc together, from stillness through tenderness and longing into dance, ending somewhere that feels like a shared celebration of being alive. At some point the line between stage and audience simply disappears.
Sometimes moments like this are called spiritual. Sometimes they just happen barefoot on a dance floor.

The Backstage Lounge
The Backstage Lounge is our room for the evening, for close friends and for the people we think should meet: people who light up at music like this, and at the conversations that happen around it.
From 17:30 we arrive, have a drink, try the appetizers, find the people we know and a few we don't yet. At 19:30 we walk over to the hall together.
After the concert, around 22:00, we come back to the same room. The buffet is ready, the musicians join us, and the evening ends the way it began: with the people you came for, now with the music still in the room.
