North Jersey Tech Meet for SPEED
NJTC Meetup #4: Meet for SPEED
This month NJTC is hosting a guest Meet for SPEED session led by Paul Calvano (Etsy) and Sergey Chernyshev (Cloudflare), co-organizers of the New York UX Speed and Web Performance Group. Together they bring over 30 years of experience in Web Performance to teach us how to speed up our sites, so bring your laptops and your slow websites!
What to expect:
Intro circle where we'll share names, what we're working on, and life beyond code
Live optimizations of 1 to 2 sites submitted by guests.
Find optimization opportunities using WebPageTest and Chrome Devtools
Learn how to read the network waterfall
Discover the latest trends in measuring site speed
The vibe: Super casual. We're here to learn from each other and build community.
What to bring: Yourself! And optionally, your laptop and your slow websites!
Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new ones. Let's keep growing this thing together!
Subscribe to our Luma Calendar and follow us on LinkedIn & Facebook to stay updated on future events!
