Cities We Carry: A practice-based lecture for "The Body Remembers, The Body Binds" series
Aea Space hosts "The Body Remembers, The Body Binds" — a series of practice-based lectures exploring that very dialogue, turning our attention inward: into bodily experience, vital presence, and how we truly perceive, remember, and meet.
The first lecture from the cycle, "Cities We Carry", will be led by Ekaterina Samotey, architect, cultural heritage specialist, somatic coach and facilitator of the BODY+CITY project.
Spaces are never just a background—they enter us and remain. Our bodies hold a living archive of every environment we’ve inhabited, forming internal maps that shape how we perceive the world and why new places evoke either deep resonance or resistance.
Together, we will decode our bodily spatial memory, helping us understand our reactions and build a more conscious, grounded relationship with the places we live in.
