Muslim America: The Next Generation is a series of micro documentaries made as part of the An Act of Worship impact campaign. The Next Generation Fellowship granted funding and 18 months of mentorship to four Gen Z Muslim filmmakers to make a film about what it means to be a Muslim in America today.
Halal Bodies is a new short film directed by Nausheen Dadabhoy. This animated documentary follows several Muslim Americans as they reflect on how familial, cultural, and societal pressures shaped their worldviews on the topics of sex and relationships.
After each screening there will be a Q&A with the filmmakers: Sana Saif, Mohammad Khatami, Daleelah Saleh, Anwar Karim and Nausheen Dadabhoy
