About Event

Please join us on September 16th for the next installment of our morning event series: "Coffee, Croissants, and Careers."

Our September breakfast session will be with current WISE-DC Co-leader, Carly Jacobs, discussing her many roles in investment management, corporate sustainability and with the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI).

Whether you're searching for a new job, looking to build a stronger community, or simply looking for opportunities to expand your understanding of the DC area sustainable finance community, we hope you will join us at our "Coffee, Croissants, and Careers" chats, where we profile the incredible range of careers occupied by our WISE-DC members relating to investing in a sustainable economy.

Speaker Bio

Carly Jacobs is Head of Responsible Investment Innovation & Progression at the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). She leads initiatives that advance investor practice, foster innovation, and convene asset owners and industry leaders to address emerging responsible investment challenges and opportunities, helping shape the future direction of sustainable finance.

Prior to the PRI, Carly worked for the Hershey Company where she oversaw ESG reporting and the development of the company’s environmental sustainability targets, including the company’s Science-Based Targets initiative-approved GHG reduction goal in-line with 1.5°C.  Before Hershey, Carly spent nearly a decade at Boston Trust Walden Company, where she managed the firm’s ESG research process, proxy voting, and engagement efforts on ESG reporting, LGBTQ equality, water, climate change, and responsible supply chains.
