Hoax LeBeau is one of the Netherlands’ most electrifying drag performers and DJs, a powerhouse presence who has been shaping Amsterdam’s nightlife since launching her career during Amsterdam Pride in 2011. Since then, she has become a fixture on some of the country’s biggest stages, hosting and performing at major festivals including Mysteryland, Milkshake, Valtifest and Amsterdam Pride.
As one half of acclaimed DJ duo CU2NT, she has toured across Europe, opened for the legendary Village People, and brought her signature club energy to packed dancefloors from intimate clubs to major festival stages. A resident DJ at Amsterdam’s iconic Club NYX, Hoax is known for her high-impact vocal house sets and magnetic stage presence. She also made Dutch television history as the star of De Diva in Mij, the Netherlands’ first national TV show hosted by drag queens.
MMIV is the founding force behind queer collectives Supernature and Jezabel — platforms where his 15+ year DJ career expands into multidisciplinary territory alongside fellow artists.
His creative output moves between music and visual art. In 2021 he completed his first art project and released his debut EP Futurhythm, followed by a connecting second project in 2022. His latest work, JUNO, launched in 2026 — a full artistic statement accompanied by a book and a series of exhibitions touring the country throughout the year.
As a curator, MMIV has built and shaped stages for both collectives at festivals and art institutions across the Netherlands. He has hosted Adonis at Lowlands festival for over a decade — one of the longest-running residencies at one of Europe's most beloved festivals. He plays a joyful mix of disco, italo and House.
New Dutch Wave is an International movement to celebrate top-notch Dutch creativity and entrepreneurship, launched in 2017 at South by Southwest. A platform designed to inspire, connect and generate new business, New Dutch Wave is the place where Dutch entrepreneurs, creatives, start-ups, artists, as well as the Dutch government and our smartest cities present themselves to a relevant international audience.

On June 3 2026, NL House opens for a day that runs from a morning wake-up call about where ambitious people should actually point their talent, to late-night conversations about what Amsterdam's after-dark culture is building next.
Expect cities to make the case for why they deserve your attention. Brands and studios showcasing work that moves people. Artists and technologists with projects that refuse to fit neatly into a single discipline. Explore the NL Lounge, where ten Dutch startups will showcase their technological creativity.
Presented by New Dutch Wave and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, created in collaboration with Dutch Digital Design, CIIIC, EIT Culture & Creativity, the City of Amsterdam, ROM Utrecht Region, NL Filmcommission, Innovally, Gielissen, WT Interactive, and Dentsu Lab.
