Humans in the Loop follows an indigenous woman from rural India recruited to train AI for U.S. tech companies—revealing the human labor, ethics, and global inequalities behind artificial intelligence.
After 100+ community screenings and reaching 35,000+ viewers, the film was acquired by Netflix, received Film Independent’s Sloan Distribution Grant, and was named a Top 5 International Film on Streaming by The New York Times.
