Movie Event - Coyote vs. ACME - IN THEATERS

​-On Tuesday, September 1st, I will be hosting another “Movie in theaters” event with Coyote vs. ACME, in association with the Stamford Cinema Club.

​-The screening is at 6:30 PM, we will gather at the lobby in the AMC Landmark 8 theater at 5:30 PM before screening, and then meet up at one of the restaurants downtown after the screening for a brief discussion about the film (reservations TBD).

​-This is an event in Theaters. As such, it is a paid event in the sense that you will have to buy your own ticket. AMC offers tickets at half price on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you will just need a free AMC Stubs membership to take advantage of it, which can done in the theater itself when purchasing the ticket, or online.

​-When purchasing your ticket, you will be instructed to pick a seat. The event host will be sitting in Seat E7, if you would like to sit together, otherwise you may pick any open seat in the theater.

​-Coyote vs. ACME is a live action/animated hybrid film featuring characters from Looney Tunes, as Wile E. Coyote attempts to take the ACME corporation to court over all the damages he suffered trying to catch the Road Runner. This movie’s production history has gone down in infamy, as Warner Bros originally attempted to write it off for taxes, and it was only rescued with help from a smaller studio. It should be really exciting to see how the movie turns out now that it’s finally getting released.
