Learn the foundations of pattern making and begin developing the practical skills needed to create your own clothes.
Led by Aderinola Oyewole, Director of Heart4design, this hands-on beginner workshop will introduce participants to pattern cutting, drafting and sewing. You will receive step-by-step guidance and practical support throughout the session, helping you build confidence and develop a strong foundation for clothes making.

It’s time to move beyond simply sewing garments and start understanding how fashion is constructed from the pattern up.
Over four Saturdays, we’ll explore how basic pattern blocks can be developed, manipulated, and transformed into creative garment details and designs.

The workshop will use sewing machines and basic pattern-making equipment, including paper, pencils, erasers and rulers. Full guidance on using the sewing machines safely will be provided during the session.
Spaces are limited, so advance registration is required.
About the facilitator
Aderinola Oyewole is the Director of Heart4design. Through practical and supportive teaching, she helps participants develop pattern-cutting and sewing skills while building confidence in clothes making.
