Philly Reads Philly: Beautyland

​Philly Reads Philly is back in October, and our next read is Beautyland by Marie-Helene Bertino.

​Beautyland follows Adina, a girl born in Philadelphia who believes she’s been sent to Earth by extraterrestrials to report back on what it means to be human. As she grows up, she sends observations about everything from family and friendship to loneliness, love, grief, and the general strangeness of being alive.

​Join us at At My House for a casual discussion of the book - what we loved, what we didn’t, what stuck with us. You don’t need to come prepared with anything other than having read as much of the book as you can (no judgement if you didn't finish!).
