Bruins in AI: Fireside Chat with Kevin Henrikson, frmr VP of Eng at Instacart & stealth founder

BCV is teaming up with the UCLA Engineering Alumni Association to host another Bruins in AI meetup at our office in SF.

This time, we'll be joined by fellow Bruin, Kevin Henrikson, former VP of Engineering at Instacart and currently a stealth founder.

Kevin is a builder and operator currently developing AI solutions, specifically voice AI. Previously, he co-founded Acompli, which Microsoft acquired and launched as Outlook Mobile. He then led large engineering organizations at Microsoft and Instacart. A UCLA alumnus, Cirrus Vision Jet pilot, Kevin writes the Founder Mode newsletter https://foundermode.kit.com/ and co-hosts a podcast by the same name: /wearefoundermode.

The chat will be moderated by Mihir Mathur, UCLA CS'19, who's an AI Product Manager at Netflix.

If you're UCLA-affiliated and in AI or the Bay Area startup ecosystem, come join us! Feel free to bring a Bruin friend but please let us know ahead of time so we can manage space!

Agenda:
- Arrivals: 6:00p
