The (Renewable) Power of Narrative
Climate conversations can often rush toward solutions—or get stuck in abstraction. Join us Tuesday morning at Coffeewomple to talk about the work in between: how stories are made, how complexity becomes understandable, and how optimism is cultivated.
Join local authors Anna Farro Henderson, Charlie Sellars, and Natalie Warren, alongside the team at Wise Ink and moderator Brenda Varda, talking candidly about what it actually takes to publish, communicate, and sustain climate work, the limits of aspiration without craft, and the responsibility that comes with writing for both urgency and durability.
You’ll hear Eric Frost show how stories can move people—what works, what breaks, and where translation matters most. There will also be guided bartering facilitated by Gifting Grove, inspired by Braiding Sweetgrass: a structured moment for naming needs, offers, and opportunities for mutual support.
Coffeewomple, in NE Minneapolis, is the state’s first all-electric roaster! Near Hennepin and Central, 1.5 blocks from multiple bus stops, with parking on site.
