Election Forms & Documentation Workshop (2 hours)
Using Forms Correctly. Avoiding Mistakes. Strengthening Election Confidence.
Safe and secure elections rely on forms and control documentation to record, verify, and protect election activity. In Harris County, many experienced Election Judges believe they understand and use these documents correctly. Yet a surprising number of election forms are completed inaccurately, incompletely, or used incorrectly. This advanced, hands-on workshop is designed to address that gap.
Take this workshop to make sure you’re completing and using election forms correctly — even if you think you already are:
How and when key election forms should be used
How to complete election forms accurately and confidently, while avoiding the most common documentation errors, including what each field is asking for and where the required information comes from
Where common mistakes and misuse occur, including how improper use of forms can affect election integrity
How to correctly handle opening, suspending, and closing control documentation
Clarity on how and where to get support and report issues when needed
The goal of this workshop is for participants to leave confident, precise, and prepared to complete election forms correctly — and to address documentation issues before they become election integrity issues.
Class slides and handouts will be sent with your registration confirmation email.
Please bring the class handouts and your 2025-2025 Harris County Elections Manual with you to class for reference and note-taking.
