COP31 Singapore Pavilion - Changemakers: How Youths are Driving Meaningful Impact Within and Across Communities
Youth-led climate action can start small, but these ground-up initiatives can grow to shape meaningful impact within and across communities.
This session spotlights young changemakers from Türkiye, Southeast Asia and Europe and beyond, and explores how youths build social capital with governments, businesses and international groups to turn local action into lasting change.
What to expect
Come ask and learn from youth changemakers across countries on how they:
Grew a local initiative into wider impact, within and across communities
Became credible, constructive partners to governments, businesses and international organisations
Worked across different stakeholder groups, and what they would do differently
Are being engaged in climate action in their own countries, and how they want to be engaged
How it works
After short introductions from each speaker, join the Human Library. Pick a table based on what you want to discuss or learn, then move to a second table to hear from a different speaker. Conversations are open and free-flowing, so bring your own questions. We’ll close with a short participant shareback on what you took away.
