10 am — 11 am: Roundtable Discussion hosted by Mark Russell, CEO of General Hypersonics.
Mark C. Russell is the founder and CEO of General Hypersonics, with over 30 years of experience spanning spaceflight, hypersonics, and large-scale resource extraction. He holds a Master's in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford and BS in aeronautics from Rennselaer Polytechinc Institute and built his early career at Boeing Sea Launch and Kistler before joining Blue Origin as employee #10, where he led Human Crew Capsule development and engineering for the company's first VTOL flight vehicle, Charon. Through ventures including HyperSciences and EnergeticX, he has secured partnerships with NASA, Shell, Exxon, the DoD, and leading mining firms, delivering field-proven hardware in hypersonics, kinetic mining, and space launch. A licensed Professional Engineer, private pilot, and National Fellow of The Explorers Club, he is now building what he envisions as the world's first and largest scalable commercial hypersonics platform.
