🇺🇸 A demo either runs or it doesn't. That's the whole format.
The house opens for the first time. Sixty people, one thirty-minute technical talk and three fifteen-minute demos, live.
There is no Q&A between demos. Questions happen afterwards, standing up, with a beer; that is where they get answered properly.
Two of the three demo slots have names on them. The third one is open: if you are building something, ask for it.

This session is still being put together: the line-up and the details can still change.
WHO'S IN THE ROOM
Sixty people: founders, engineers, product people, designers and early employees. The room is small on purpose, so you can talk to anyone in it and so the second time you already recognise faces.
Don't hang back by the wall: introduce yourself and ask what people are working on. You'll leave with two or three names you didn't have.
IF YOU'RE BUILDING SOMETHING
One demo slot is still open and the technical anchor is still being closed. Fifteen minutes, live, no slides. It doesn't have to be finished; it almost never is.
Say so when you apply, and tell us what you'd show.
HOW TO GET IN
Guest list only, and the door is free. Applying isn't admission: the guest list is closed by hand, session by session, and we always write back.
THE HOUSE
BARRACA Founders House is the house València's founders and builders come back to. Numbered sessions, small groups and the same faces coming back.

The room runs in Spanish and English; people switch mid-sentence and nobody minds. Plenty of demos are in English because the product already ships abroad.

La casa abre por primera vez. Sesenta personas, una charla técnica de treinta minutos y tres demos de quince, en directo.
No hay turno de preguntas entre las demos. Las preguntas se hacen después, de pie y con una cerveza; es donde mejor se contestan.
Dos de los tres slots de demo ya tienen nombre. El tercero está abierto: si estás construyendo algo, pídelo.

QUIÉN ESTÁ EN LA SALA
Sesenta personas: founders, engineers, product people, designers y primeros empleados. Sala pequeña a propósito, para que se pueda hablar con cualquiera y para que la segunda vez ya reconozcas caras.
No te quedes en una esquina: preséntate y pregunta en qué anda la gente. Sales con dos o tres contactos que no tenías, seguro.
SI ESTÁS CONSTRUYENDO ALGO
Queda un slot de demo abierto y el technical anchor todavía se está cerrando. Quince minutos, en directo, sin slides. No hace falta que esté terminado; casi nunca lo está.

CÓMO SE ENTRA
Guest list only, y la puerta es gratis. Solicitar no es entrar: la guest list se cierra a mano, session por session, y te contestamos siempre.
LA CASA
Barraca Founders House es la casa a la que vuelven los founders y builders de València. Sessions numeradas, grupos pequeños y las mismas caras volviendo una y otra vez.

En la sala se habla castellano e inglés; se cambia de idioma a mitad de frase y no pasa nada. Muchas demos van en inglés porque el producto ya está fuera.
