Craicathon

​What is it?
Craicathon brings together coders, Irish speakers, designers, artists, musicians, and anyone curious to build projects that promote Irish language and culture in a single day.

​Teams form on the day(or bring your own) You build something. You demo it. You maybe win a prize. There will be food, workshops, and pints.

​You don't need to be fluent in Irish or know how to code. We will have lots and lots of templates, resources and AI tools - If you care about Irish culture and want to make something, you belong here.

📖 Interactive storytelling & digital folklore
🎵 Trad music / Irish dance tech

We want a mix of genuinely useful applications and kinda cool / fun stuff that you’d find at something like a stupid hackathon or by NAMACO or by Simon Darcy.
