Hackathon | Translating AI Safety (Content x Comms)
Hosted by LIaiSE x Frame Fellowship, supported by BlueDot Impact
Saturday 22 August | 9:30 AM – 9 PM, Central London
The stories being told about AI risks right now will shape how policymakers regulate it, how the media covers it, and how the public feels about it. There is a big gap between the AI safety research that happens and what the public understands, including policymakers who make decisions around these risks.
This is your chance to close that gap. Turn complex safety concepts into concrete, high-impact artefacts - it can be a one-page briefing a policymaker will actually read, an explainer that travels online, a content video that lands with the public or a viral news piece!
Who's this for?
You are curious about AI safety and want to learn more about risks by applying your creative ideas. No coding required. Please bring your laptops and any equipment (camera, mic, etc.) you might need during the hackathon.
We provide the themes; you find the best medium to communicate them.
We’ll have AI safety organisations and AI safety content specialists speaking and mentoring. (More updates soon!)
