​Join NYC-based artist Rainee (@raineewang1116) at ROTOHAUS Studio for an intimate evening exploring the ancient and mindful art of Batik. Rainee learned traditional wax-resist and natural dye techniques while living among artisans in rural China. Her original batik series, “Indigo Dreams (蓝梦)”, inspired by Li brocade patterns, nature, and feminine forms, was recently featured at the UNESCO-backed Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival in Chengdu.
​Now she invites you to transform everyday objects into deeply personal, symbolic art pieces through the beauty of wax-resist dyeing and vibrant natural pigments.
