​Build an app with Kotlin and discover how to take it beyond Android. In this JetBrains workshop, we'll explore Kotlin's role in app development and build together using Kotlin Multiplatform.

​What we'll cover

• ​Why Kotlin: explore why the language became a popular choice for Android development.

• ​Build with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP): develop an app together that can run across multiple platforms using a shared codebase.

• ​If time allows, add AI with Koog: explore bringing AI functionality into the app with JetBrains' Kotlin framework for building AI agents.

• ​If time allows, AI-powered workflows: a look at app development with AI-assisted coding tools.

​Who it's for

​Anyone curious about mobile, cross-platform or AI development. Some general programming background will help you follow along.
