The Compass: Belonging - From Lens to Self Festival 2026
Where do you feel part of something? And in which situations do you sense a distance between yourself and others? Belonging can grow from a place, a community, a relationship or a shared experience. In this Compass session, you will use photography to explore how belonging appears around you and in your life.
Through guided exercises, you will notice visual signs of inclusion, distance and connection, looking for the contexts in which you feel genuine participation.
Your images will offer a concrete starting point for reflecting on where you feel welcomed, where you remain on the margins and what belonging means to you.
The session connects observation, values and choices, helping you identify an aspect you would like to give more attention to. Bring a smartphone or camera.
