Tour of Common Orchard Project's Community Compost Operation

​Stop by Camp Washington Perennial Farm to join the Common Orchard Project and Queen City Commons for tours of this local community composting operation, a soon-to-be Compost Demonstration Site for Hamilton County. Bring your own bag, bucket or truck bed during this time to purchase local, nutrient-rich compost for your home garden (at a discounted price!). See CWPF's compost equipment and bagging machinery, their 500 sq.ft. thermophilic composting system, their nursery space for community orchards, learn about where their food scraps come from, among many other cool features! This is a come-and-go as you please event - we can't wait to see you there, and load you up with some fresh compost.
