I'm opening up a virtual space every Saturday at 10am-10:45 am EST for a secular Weekend Mindfulness Circle. Just 45 minutes of shared silence.
It is a shared space to reduce your cognitive overload, pause midweek, sit, and practice attention together.
No obligation.
No pressure to 'do it right.'
Camera on or off.
Join late or leave early.
The objective is to bring an intentional midweek pause for a cognitive reset in a quiet shared space.
The flow:-
-A short transition from rushing to grounding
-A short poem or reading
-Quiet practice
-Optional sharing at the end
As a long-time mindfulness practitioner trained in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), I've experienced the power of silence to regulate the nervous system. Even brief moments of silence can work wonders.
