Couch to Cursor Series #1: Explore & Understand (In-Person + Virtual)

​Every climb starts with a first step. In this hands-on session you'll set up Cursor and learn to understand code before you ever change it — using AI to explore a real project instead of reading it line by line.

​In these two hours you'll:

• ​Get Cursor installed and ready (bring your laptop — we'll help)

• ​Adopt the mindset: working with an AI coding partner, not just autocomplete

• ​Get comfortable with Tab completion — Cursor's inline AI suggestions

• ​Use Ask mode to explore our starter project and get instant answers

• ​Learn your first real skill — giving Cursor the right context with @-mentions instead of dumping everything

• ​Meet the modes and model picker you'll master over the next three weeks

​Total beginners welcome. You'll leave able to navigate any codebase just by asking.
