From Central Bank to Bitcoin: My Path Into the Bitcoin Industry
Hosted and moderated by Bitcoin House Malaysia.
Guest: Marek Feder, AmityAge.
About the Event
What does it actually take to move into the Bitcoin industry?
Marek Feder went from working inside a central bank to working full-time in Bitcoin. Join us in Kuala Lumpur as he shares how that happened: the wrong turns, the unpaid weekends, and the moment it finally worked out.
It is an honest look at a career transition, including what he learned along the way and how contributing to Bitcoin education helped him find his place.
What We Will Cover
Marek's path from regulator to Bitcoin educator, step by step
Where Bitcoin work exists beyond the obvious roles
Why showing up and contributing mattered more than his CV
Who It Is For
Anyone curious about working in Bitcoin, whether you are a student, thinking about a career change, or wondering what the industry looks like from the inside.
You do not need a technical background.
Format
Marek's story, followed by open audience Q&A and networking. Bring a question about getting started, finding a useful role, or contributing from Malaysia.
