Startup Contracts, Reimagined: How AI Can Make Legal Faster, Simpler and More Affordable
Co-hosted by AXIAS AI and WilbeLABS, and hosted at IDEALondon, this practical workshop will explore how AI can make startup legal work faster and more cost-effective without removing expert legal judgement.
Using common startup documents and commercial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, DPAs, shareholder agreements, IP licences and incorporation documents, we’ll explore:
Where AI can remove time and cost from routine legal work
How AI-assisted contract review and redlining works
Where automation should stop and a lawyer should step in
How to identify, explain and redraft contract risks
How an AI-native law firm can support recurring commercial and wider startup legal needs
The session will include a short demonstration of the AXIAS platform, an interactive contract-risk and redlining exercise, and an open Q&A.
Optional 10–15 minute one-to-one clinics will also be available after the workshop for founders who want to discuss a specific legal workflow, recurring issue or anonymised document privately. Places will be limited.
This session is designed for founders, CEOs, COOs, CFOs and commercial or operations leads at startups and scaleups without a large in-house legal team.
No legal or technical background is required.
This workshop provides general information only and does not constitute legal advice. Specific advice is provided only under an agreed client relationship.

About AXIAS AI
AXIAS AI is an AI-native law firm that combines automation with expert legal judgement.
Its outcome-based service model focuses on getting legal work completed rather than charging for lawyer time. AI supports routine contract review, drafting and redlining, while experienced lawyers step in for escalation, bespoke advice and higher-risk issues.
AXIAS supports startups across commercial agreements, data and privacy terms, shareholder agreements, IP licences and incorporation documents.
