The One-Page Test - LIVE SESSION · 16 JULY 2026
You've got an idea you can't shake. Test it before you build a thing.
The One-Page Test · LIVE SESSION · 16 JULY 2026
One live session. Ninety minutes. You leave knowing whether the idea is worth your time, and holding the one test that tells you, before you build anything or quit anything.
Why this session
Here's the thing about a good idea. It sits there. You turn it over on the commute, in the shower, at 2am. But you've got a job too good to gamble on a hunch, so you never actually test it. Months pass. The idea doesn't move.
Most founders skip straight to building. They spend three months and real money making something, then go looking for someone who wants it. That's backwards, and it's expensive.
There's a cheaper first move. Before you build anything, you run one test that tells you whether real people want the thing. In this session I'll show you how, using a single page as the instrument. Not a product. Not a pitch deck. One page that turns your idea into a question the market can actually answer.
You'll build it in whatever you've got, a Google Doc, a free page, even paper. This is a thinking tool, not a build. You'll leave with the test set up on your own idea, and a clear read on whether it's worth the next step.

You're senior and paid well, with an idea you can't shake
You're a very early-stage founder, an idea you've just kicked off or one you're sitting on
You'd rather test the idea than gamble your time or savings on a hunch
What you walk away with
The one-page test, set up on the idea you can't shake
A way to tell a real signal from a polite one
An honest read on whether this is worth betting time on
About Matt
I'm Matt Ainsworth. I've spent 20+ years in product and go-to-market across the Australia and Japan corridor, a good chunk of it in Tokyo. I built Global Day Zero to help people prove an idea before they go all in, and design it to travel from day zero. In this session I'll run the one-page test live on your own idea, so you find out what's real before you bet anything on it.
Pricing
$49 USD. If you go on to join the Sprint, it comes straight off your fee.
What comes next
Think of this session as a primer. A taste of how the Global Day Zero method works, run live on your own idea in ninety minutes. If it lands, the Sprint is the full eight weeks: a cohort, and me in your corner, turning that first signal into a prototype designed to travel.
Applications close the very next day, 17 July.
PS. The cheapest time to test an idea is before you've built it. The second cheapest time is the night before you would have started.
