Beyond the Code x Relay
ACVC is proud to present the second event in its In Tech series: Building in Tech with Relay
What does it take to thrive in high-growth tech beyond technical expertise?
Join us for an evening of insights and conversation exploring how engineers, operators, and aspiring tech leaders can navigate the transition from traditional enterprise environments to fast-growing startups and scale-ups.
Through a fireside chat featuring perspectives from a developer, an executive, and an investor, we’ll explore the mindset shifts, skills, and strategies that help people grow their careers and build successful companies in fintech.
What to expect:
Beyond the code: Expanding your impact beyond engineering into product, design, and business.
Making the leap: Navigating the transition from established enterprises to high-growth startups and scale-ups.
Taking ownership: Developing an entrepreneurial mindset and contributing beyond your immediate role.
The skills that set you apart: Building communication, adaptability, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Building for growth: Learning what it takes to succeed in fast-moving teams and evolving tech companies.
Whether you're an engineer ready to broaden your impact, an operator exploring your next chapter, or an aspiring tech leader, this is an opportunity to learn from different industry perspectives and connect with Toronto's tech community.
Stick around after the discussion for audience Q&A and networking with fellow builders, operators, and innovators.
