​Club Rambutan invites you to our first-ever Seattle event! 🪢👜

​CMCY is a felting & bag charm-making workshop using custom glass charms handmade by local artist and instructor, Sophia Holland.

⭐️ Our goal is to share the feminist history of the handbag, and to emphasize the importance of ‘DIY’ (Do-It-Yourself) projects are an act of defiance against conformity and consumer culture while also celebrating individuality and self-sufficiency.

​🫂 Come for a fun night of learning and crafting - there will also be custom cafe drinks by WRKSHP, Club Rambutan's merch pop up, and Sophia Holland's art for sale!

​We carry ourselves in our bags. It's not just the belongings we need to complete our tasks for the day - it's also all the stuff that makes the journey to our final destination funner and smoother.

In our bags we hold space for others, too - when the hands of our loved ones are full, we may offer the remaining room we have to tote their belongings for a while. It is an innocent yet significant act of kindness and care to make someone’s life a little easier in the moment, to temporarily bear a load that is not yours.

Bags are not only a form of self expression through fashion, but are also a functional tool that keeps our community together while in motion, in transit.
