PARETO x Ship-Its, a Sigma Eta Pi initiative
Ship-Its is hosting Pareto this Friday for a night of demos, networking, and work sessions. Dinner will be provided!
Pareto is an early-stage investor and venture studio that operates a hacker house, undergraduate fellowship, and many other programs designed to take builders to the next level.
Young founders.
Scrappy hackers.
Obsessed engineers.
If you are any of those things, Pareto wants to meet you!
If you are participating in TartanHacks, this is right after hacking starts, so its the perfect opportunity to come and bring your teammates to work on your projects in the Swartz Center!

What is Ship-Its?
Ship-Its is an open-invite social work session for (we would argue) the most interesting people on campus. This is a place where you can drop in to work on a side project, meet your future cofounder, or find someone else interested in your niche passion.
Who should come?
There is no one answer. You should consider stopping by if you:
would categorize yourself as a creative, engineer, or founder (no matter your age, field of study, or if you actively have an idea)
want to meet, and potentially join, people who are also paving their own path
want a sounding board for your project or startup idea
are considering rushing SEP
How is it run?
We typically have an open schedule where you can mingle, work, and snack (yes we have snacks!) - with select opportunities for people to briefly speak to the entire room. During the session we also keep an open public brainstorming board where you can write your interests, introduce an idea, or describe a type of person you want to meet.
