Growing Pains: A Sira Talk w/ Majda Labadi
Growth creates new demands on people, leadership, structure, and culture. The team that gets a company to one stage may need to evolve significantly to take it to the next.
In this conversation with Majda Labadi, we explore what happens to an organization as the business around it scales. Drawing on nearly four decades at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Majda will reflect on developing talent from within, identifying future leaders before they are needed, knowing when structures and roles have outgrown the business, and preserving culture as teams expand across markets.
Majda Labadi, former Executive Vice President at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, spent 38 years and played an instrumental role in the company’s growth from a small local pharmaceutical manufacturer into a $5B+ global organization. Her career spanned business development, manufacturing, procurement, operations, general management, and human resources, including 14 years leading Group HR. Today, she remains active as an angel investor, board member, advisor, and mentor to entrepreneurs and growing businesses.
