Ready to play? Join The Improv Place for a fun, high-energy FREE improv jam every Sunday in September and October from 1pm to 3pm at the Seattle Center Armory. This jam is a welcoming and supportive space for improvisers of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned pro looking to flex your skills, a student wanting more practice time, or a complete beginner curious about what improv is all about, you'll find a place here.
What to Expect Come ready to play, create, and connect with other creators. We’ll guide you through a variety of exercises and formats, always letting the group's energy lead the way. We'll explore everything from classic games and scenes to spontaneous poetry, music, or even rap. The experience is designed to be fun and collaborative, never competitive. There's no pressure to be "funny"; our focus is on building a shared reality, saying "yes, and," and having a blast together. This is a great way to meet fellow improv enthusiasts and build your confidence in a no-stakes environment.
