Women In Cleantech And Sustainability Midwest Launch

​Minnesota has a strong and growing clean energy and sustainability community. From solar and electrification to corporate sustainability, climate tech, and policy, there’s a lot happening. But most of us are still connecting within our own lanes, and there aren’t many spaces that intentionally bring those perspectives together. As the work becomes more interconnected, those broader relationships matter more.

​This gathering is a soft launch of a potential Women in Cleantech & Sustainability (WCS) Minnesota chapter. The goal isn’t to replace or compete with the great organizations that already exist here. It’s to create a space that connects across them. WCS brings together women working in all areas of the clean economy, whether that’s energy, tech, finance, policy, marketing, or sustainability. We’ll share a bit about WCS, talk through what it would take to start a Minnesota chapter, and spend time getting to know each other. This is meant to be conversational and low-key, with plenty of room for input on what would actually be useful to build here.
