This is useful for treasury management on both the individual and organisational levels :)
Join us to find out exactly how this works sustainably and get hands-on to spin up your own Ethereum validator on Testnet.
This session will be conducted by Stakesaurus, an Ethereum Solo Staker, contributor of the Lido Community Lifeguards Initiative, and ACCESS Working Group Staking Lead.
🎯 What You'll Achieve
Go from zero to hero: Set up your own Ethereum validator on Testnet using free cloud credits
Master the technology: Become self-sufficient in running Ethereum validator nodes
Maximize your staking rewards: Learn to combine node operations with the Lido Commnity Staking Module (CSM)
Hands-on practice: Access dedicated cloud virtual machines throughout the workshop and in your own time
Agenda
Ethereum Validators & Node Operations: Conceptual walkthrough and discussion
Hands-On Workshop: Deploying and managing nodes using Google Cloud VMs
Background
Ethereum validators process and secure transactions on the Ethereum network.
In exchange for the work done, they receive staking rewards from both users via gas fees and the Ethereum network itself via issuance.
Validators operated by independent individuals and entities are extremely important to the network for censorship and collusion resistance.
As a result, many protocols have emerged to encourage and incentivise more people to run Ethereum validators from home.
