About the Workshop
You've already started to feel the effects of the AI hype machine. Everybody's telling you to learn it or you'll be left behind. Paradoxically, some folks are saying coding is a dead profession, and in 6 months the robots will be doing it all.
I'm here to set the record straight, with a bit of common sense and experience.
Come along as I show you how I've been using AI to write and deploy 100% of my code since the start of 2026. This workshop covers the practical processes I use to ship software, with the goal of helping you have a great, highly productive experience using AI in your day-to-day work.
We'll look at a couple of popular coding tools, and take a deep dive into using Claude Code for rapid and sustained development work. I'll show you how to make your own custom skills, custom MCP servers, and prompts so that you can get back to making cool things.
What We'll Cover:
Working with Git work-trees
Making bullet-proof plans
Implementing features, with supervision or autonomously
Submitting and managing pull requests through an agent
Merge and clean-up workflows
