In 2026, we've hosted monthly events where you could find us (the Open Data team), Open Data users and enthusiasts, and dedicated public servants fostering and bolstering open data projects and usage.
To wrap the year, we're celebrating the people who work with open data by putting them and their work in the spotlight!
The room will be filled with civic projects, the people behind them, and the City staff who make this work possible. These are the people who work on Toronto, regardless of whether they work for it.

Notice Of Collection
City of Toronto (Technology Services Division) collects personal information under the legal authority of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, sections 7, 8, and 136 and Toronto City Council item 2018.EX30.12, as confirmed by the City of Toronto By-law 163-2018. The information will be used to improve the City’s Open Data Program, identify City data that could potentially be released as open data, facilitate opportunities for the public to use open data, prepare internal reports, communicate updates on requests for open data, share notifications that open datasets have been published or improved, and inform the public about opportunities to provide feedback on the Open Data Program.
