YC-backed education startups have proven demand, but most AI education demos still fail where it matters. Can it actually improve learning outcomes, not just engagement? Can it adapt to a struggling learner instead of giving one-size-fits-all answers? Can it work inside real classrooms with teachers, curricula, and grading systems?
