About Event

Please join us and learn the art of carving your own wooden spoon. You'll be taught how to work with hand tools that have been used for generations, creating your next favorite kitchen utensil. Enjoy the relaxing, meditative craft while meeting others in the community. This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned woodworkers alike. Space is limited - Sign up now.

You'll have the opportunity to choose materials and degree of carving difficulty. Harder woods, like walnut and cherry, take more time to carve. We'll describe the process and time commitment when we begin the class. Attendees who want to leave with a completed spoon after three hours will be able to.

Standard Ticket: For those taking their first course or those who need a wood blank to carve.

Carving Only: For those who have taken a class and are returning to finish a project they've started before.

We are excited to host the experience at Art Bloc Sausalito, a creative co-working space and gallery in Sausalito's northern waterfront.

18+ only. Please note that the course will require attendees to consistently carve wood over the course of hours. Guests will be standing and sitting on barstools. The space is ADA compliant.

Cancellation policy: Life happens. We understand that things come up. As a small business, we need time to fill the cancelled booking. Cancellations are accepted up to 72 hours in advance of the event, with a 100% refund. After that time, attendees are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
