Coalesce | Deep Tech Mixer @ 1023

​Welcome to Coalesce, our first Deep Tech Mixer at Science Creates' 1023 Bar!

​We're opening up our Science Creates Old Market incubator to partners, external founders, early-career researchers and postgraduate students to connect with the Deep Tech community of the South West at our 1023 Bar.

​This is a great chance for those within or interested in working in Deep Tech to meet service sector experts, and startup founders and staff working across biotech, quantum, materials, engineering and AI.

​Starting in October, we’ll be running these mixers every 6 weeks with the mission to grow the region's Deep Tech network and connect the curious, local talent pool with our members that are carrying out cutting-edge R&D to improve human and planetary health.

​All mixers will be attended by either our Innovation Lead or Community & Partnerships Manager, who are always free for a chat.

​Please note, registration approval is at the discretion of the Science Creates team, whose intention is to ensure all attendees are suitable and find the event valuable.

​📍The venue

​The venue is a 10-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station and less than 5-minutes from local bus routes on Old Market Street and Temple Way.

​Please note that parking is not available on site. The nearest pay and display car park is opposite the venue at Gardiner Haskins.

​Outdoor bike storage is available at the front of the building.

​The venue is fully accessible with gender-neutral toilets.
