About the Speakers
Anthony Kruger, CAIA, Director, is senior investment strategist for BlackRock Systematic Active Equities (SAE). He is the lead strategist for APAC Wealth, responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, product innovation and commercialisation across the region.
Prior to his current role he was the EMEA head of Factor ETFs for iShares setting the overall strategy for the segment, launching innovative factor products and pioneering Factor ESG ETFs globally. Prior to joining BlackRock, Anthony was responsible for the research and commercialisation of factor models to hedge funds and asset managers. He has also previously worked on creating an ETF analytics products, developed infrastructure for ETFs to be used as collateral, and created tools for use in stock lending markets.
Mr. Kruger earned a BCom degree in Investment Management and Economics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, an honours degree in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and is a CAIA charter holder.
