About Event

In partnership with the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC)

From K-pop Demon Hunters to Korean philosophy—discover how soft power helps you navigate transition, regulate under pressure, and lead with authentic strength.

How did South Korea transform collective trauma into global cultural influence in one generation?

How has the South Korean women's Olympic archery team won gold at every single Olympics since 1988?

Beneath K-pop, K-dramas, and K-beauty lies something deeper — centuries-old principles of resilience, balance, and transformation.

In this workshop, you'll experience the embodied traditions that have shaped Korea's resilience — through cultural storytelling, mindful movement, and breathwork you can feel in your body and use in your daily life.

One of the most powerful of these traditions is an ancient Korean yoga and breathwork practice designed to calm the nervous system, release stored tension, and awaken inner vitality. We’ll move through a fully guided sequence together in a supportive, accessible environment.

No experience is necessary — this workshop is accessible for all levels.

What You'll Experience

  • Cultural Storytelling and Hidden Wisdom – Discover the ancient principles behind Korea's rise and how to apply them for resilience and focus in your own life

  • Korean Yoga & Breathwork – Movement and breathwork sequences that regulate oxidative stress, enhance mental clarity, and enhance overall health (accessible for all levels)

  • Practical Daily Tools – Simple grounding practices to help you stay grounded, focused, and balanced in everyday life

  • Refreshments + Connection – Stay after to unwind, share refreshments, and connect in community
