On June 24th, we are hosting the Vistula Valley Networking Night - an inaugural gathering bringing together Kraków-based innovators, startups, and investors operating at the intersection of the Polish and American markets.
Vistula Valley is today's fastest-growing network: an exclusive community of outstanding Poles in the US and Poland, active at the crossroads of technology, science, and business - spread across the globe, united by ambition and mutual trust. It brings together people from Kraków, Warsaw, San Francisco, New York, who want to collaborate in a meaningful way: exchanging contacts, ideas, and business opportunities. It's a space where conversations between startup founders, researchers, and investors evolve into real partnerships that would never have emerged under ordinary circumstances.
The evening features three program threads:
Presentation of the UFO ART Gallery as a space at the intersection of art, technology, and AI
A substantive discussion on scaling Polish startups and talent abroad
Networking among active participants of the Kraków and national startup ecosystem

Róża Szafranek - Founder & CEO of HR Hints and the Culturivy® Institute. Organizational psychologist and author of her own methodology for improving company performance through human capital management. Named to Forbes' 100 Women list.
Michał Wyrębkowski - Co-founder of This Is The World and European Director at the CELI Institute at Yale University. Creator of the Bison Fellowship - a mentoring program for young innovators, developed in partnership with Maciej Kawecki and the Rafał Brzoska Foundation, connecting Polish talent with the Silicon Valley ecosystem. Graduate of the Wharton School.
Sebastian Szubartowski - Entrepreneur and son of Ryszard Szubartowski, a legendary computer science teacher who, as a high school educator, shaped a generation of outstanding technologists - including a co-founder of OpenAI. Creator of a unique pedagogical method whose impact on the world of technology is so significant that a Netflix documentary about his father is currently in production.
Łukasz Chyla - Capital markets attorney and Fulbright Alumni Ambassador, graduate of Columbia University, member of the Kościuszko Mound Committee in Kraków, and director of the US-CEE Connection Weekend program.
Kamil Dobosz, PhD, MBA – attorney-at-law, researcher, and manager, with extensive experience advising start-ups at the intersection of law and business. Mentor in academic incubation and entrepreneurship programmes, supporting the development of innovative projects and emerging leaders. Vice-President of EMBA & MBA HUB, fostering collaboration and integration within the Executive MBA and MBA community.
Michal Karp - silver medalist of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence 2025 (China), where his team also won 1st place worldwide in the Team Challenge. He placed 6th nationally in the Polish AI Olympiad and co-authored research papers on continual learning and AI safety, including FeNeC and LLM-as-a-Judge is Bad.
Vistula Valley is a community we are building to connect exceptional Poles working in technology, the natural sciences, and the creative world - both in Poland and in the United States. We bring together people from Kraków, Warsaw, San Francisco, New York who want to collaborate in a real and meaningful way: sharing contacts, ideas, and business opportunities. The Networking Night is the first in-person gathering of this community - the moment when relationships built online gain a face and a handshake.
