EVOLVE: 8090 AI Hackathon

​We’re opening 8090’s Redwood City office for a night of building with AI.

​EVOLVE is a 20-hour hackathon on November 13–14. The mission: build your own Software Factory.

​What if you could build a system that takes software from idea to implementation, with AI agents doing the heavy lifting? Design your own factory: orchestrate agents, build custom tools, automate workflows, and rethink how software gets built from the ground up.

​Build a team of agents that takes a ticket to a pull request. Create a framework for coordinating autonomous coding agents. Develop tools that help engineers understand and modernize massive legacy codebases. Take an idea, push the limits of what’s possible, and ship something real.

​You’ll get access to Software Factory and support from 8090’s engineering team throughout the build. We’ll finish with live demos, judging, Q&A with 8090 members of technical staff and prizes. Chamath Palihapitiya is scheduled to join the ceremonies.

​WHAT TO EXPECT

• ​Winning team gets a chance to do 1:1 pitches to Chamath.

• ​$3000+ in credits & prizes for top 3 winning teams

• ​20 hours of building, overnight from Friday to Saturday
