Lab for Holding: a Poetry Puppet Parade through the Albany Bulb
LAB FOR HOLDING is an experimental poetry performance at the Albany Bulb on Sunday, November 8th, 2026, led by Berkeley poets Hanne Williams-Baron and Clara Sperow. The reading will span the length of the Bulb, starting and ending at the brick pit near the parking lot. The performance will be separated by stanza, featuring 8 stops along the path. Each stanza will be accompanied by a different performance interpretation: dance, music, puppetry, and more, closing with a tea ritual led by local herbalists. The performance will be captured live and edited into a short film by documentary filmmaker Zoe Hertz.
