CAMeLS-Group: eleventh session in Copenhagen Advanced Machine Learning Study Group

​Welcome to the eleventh instalment of the Copenhagen Advanced Machine Learning Study Group (CAMeLS-Group).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Unlike previous sessions, we will read part of this paper in advance.

In this session, we will be reading the paper A Path Towards Autonomous Machine Intelligence by Yann LeCun.

​Please read up until and including section 4.3 in advance (p. 24). Give it a quick read - you are not supposed to understand everything in depth.

In the following session, we will read the rest of the paper from section 4.4 onward.

Recommended prerequisites: some background in ML or related fields, at a level where you can read a paper in your favourite area. Don’t feel scared off if you have not yet graduated, but we will be reading research papers.
